What would a cup of tea be like without a biscuit? It certainly wouldn’t be a pleasurable experience. If you are anything like the typical consumer in the UK, you are predicted to eat almost 800 biscuits each year. The Brits are so addicted to biscuits that there are Facebook groups and websites dedicated to discussing the various types on sale and their “dunkability”. The ability for a biscuit to keep its shape after it has been dipped in a cup of hot tea.

This intermediate lesson aims to get students to think about small food snacks and how it varies in each country, the presentation topic can lead onto their favourite and how it is made. A great exercise in using the passive form and sequencers.
