Fossil fuels are used in abundance, but what about nuclear? Since the Fukushima disaster in Japan the popularity of nuclear energy has waned. Such is the fear of the mineral that no new power plants are being built (or planned for) in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Is this the right solution? Can there be a better way to provide for our energy needs without using something so toxic?
