Pensions

A crisis is brewing, but surprisingly, I am not referring to climate change, wars or even famine. Pensions, while a thoroughly uninteresting subject is something all of us will need to plan for. We are not getting younger so we need to really understand the consequences of choices available. Globally, pensions have been underfunded for at least two decades now (at the time of writing) and this had led to some pension funds to close. Teacher and public worker funds have been closing and reducing payouts for nearly five years now.

What can be done to improve pension cover for everyone? Should it be left to the government?
